Faye Liu is an illustrator and independent comics artist whose work reflects the quiet tension between people and their environments. Using a calm, observational visual language, she explores how emotions, memories, and everyday experiences intertwine to reveal the subtle connections between our inner and outer worlds.

Through a variety of media including illustration, graphic novels, experimental animation, and installation, she continues to explore new ways of expressing herself and connecting with audiences. Faye’s work often incorporates elements of absurdity and humor, inviting viewers to engage with my art on multiple levels. Ultimately, her goal is to inspire people to think more deeply about the future of humanity and our place in the universe.

After obtaining BFA and MFA degrees in Illustration from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Faye Liu currently works as a freelance illustrator and art educator in McLean, VA.
